Apple Festival

This is a family-friendly event, so bring the kids and spend the day in the country with us! Have fun in our petting zoo or run around until they're exhausted. We'll have outdoor games like badminton & cornhole too.
The event is rain or shine, but no worries - there's plenty of undercover space if a sprinkle happens along.
Visit with Santa December 21st 2024
🎅Come visit with Santa for FREE from 11 to 2! Bring your own camera to take a family picture ( with your animals too!!) then shop around for some unique gifts by supporting local. We will have our own beef vegetable soup and hot cider for sale and best of all... for every sale, you get 1 free cookie!!
Good NEWS!!! Good News Coffee will also be here. So Grab lunch, and coffee and Christmas shop all in one spot. Don't forget to go say Hello to the petting zoo animals before they leave for the Winter. 🎁
Peach Festival
AUGUST 18, 2024 11 am to 4 pm
FREE Admission! Join us on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 11am - 4pm for our Peach Festival! We'll have live music, farm food (our own burgers, farm to crust pizza, hotdogs, peach milkshakes & more), a tasting table, Good News Coffee truck, wine & craft beer tasting, Henna Tattoo and of course, LOTS of peaches! This is a family friendly event, so bring the kids and spend the day in the country with us! Have fun in our petting zoo, pick your own flowers or just run around till they're exhausted. Mary Richard's Memorial Fundraiser
TBD Fall 2024
This Scholarship is in Honor of Mary Richard and it
is for women that are continuing their education in
Agriculture. Mary Richard and her Husband, Jim, started
the market in 1953 and loved teaching the community
about their farm. We are continuing that tradition still in
the market and we were honored to grant for 2024 a $1000 scholarship to Rachel Foltz.
We are raising money year round for this scholarship. If would like to make a donation, please reach out to Kayla at 540-869-1455.
We are having our 3rd Annual Easter Egg hunt. We will start the hunt at 11:30, so get there early to get a spot in the start up line. We will have 2 areas: 3 and under and 4 and up. Last year they went quick so I am having triple amount the eggs from last year! Lunch will also be available to purchase, so stay and enjoy Grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches made with Grandma's Jam House jam's and jellies. This is a meal you do not want to miss if you have not had them. Plus!!! Good News Coffee Truck will be here, so grab a cup of the best coffee around and enjoy the day.

The members of the local gourd patch of the Virginia Lovers Gourd Society will have a public workday. Watch gourd artisans create various projects: ornaments, small bowls, rag dolls., leaves.. and more! Great opportunity to ask questions of for a small fee join them!
