Each year we host several festivals and on-farm events that always turn out to be lots of fun for everyone!

Cornhole Tournament & Family Fun Day

Saturday  |  July 21  |  Gates Open at 11am

to benefit Frederick County Educational Foundation

$5 gate fee (6 & under free)
Cornhole Tournament: $50 entry fee for team. First, Second & Third Place prizes. To enter, email Kayla  

Lots of kids games, barrel train rides, activities and farm animal petting zoo. Farm to crust pizza, beer & wine along with peach ice cream, milk shakes, sparkling cider, smoothies, pies, muffins and more!

Peach Festival

Sunday  |  August 19  |  11am to 4pm  

Family Fun Day on the Farm
Lots of kids games, activities and farm animal petting zoo, great food and music too! Oh, and did we mention peaches?  Peach ice cream, milk shakes, sparkling cider, smoothies, pies, muffins and more!


Apple Festival

Saturday  |  October 20  |  11am to 4pm

Apple harvest is always a fun time to visit the farm. We’ll have lots of varieties of apples to choose from, plus food and fun for everyone.  This is a family friendly event, so bring the kids and spend the day in the country with us!
Mary Richard Farmer's Mother

Married into the 3rd generation farming family, Mary still runs the market today. She grew up in Kernstown, VA and loved to play softball. She graduated from James Wood High School, fell in love and married James Richard, Sr. in 1953 . They had two children: Debbie and James Jr (Eddie). Mary’s passion for the farming community has shown through her love of the market. You will always see her smiling face when you enter the stand. She loves baking, planting, taking care of her flowers and helping customers. Her love for her family is ever-growing, Mary is a grandmother of 4 and a great grandmother of 4 (5th one coming in Oct 2018.)
